Schering-Plough Announces Imperfect Contraceptive Use Impacts Women's Emotional Well-Being
Wednesday, April 16, 2008 (Kenilworth, N.J., U.S.A.)
Schering-Plough Corporation today announced results of a recently completed study showing that non-compliance with combined hormonal contraceptives has noticeable effects on women’s emotional well-being, prompted requests for physicians’ advice and led to increased use of emergency contraception. Results were presented today in Madrid, Spain, and were published earlier this month in Contraception.

Winners announced of “The 8th Organon Urology Science Award” and “The 8th Organon Urology Award”
Monday, March 17, 2008 (Osaka, Japan)
The Organon Urology Academia (OUA) announced five winners of the “Organon Urology Science Award.” Presentation of the awards took place during a special reception on Friday, March 7, 2008, at the OUA Scientific Seminar in Osaka. The OUA was sponsored by Nippon Organon K.K., a part of Schering-Plough Corporation, with the aim of giving encouragement and support in the field of urology in Japan.
