Joe Azzinaro

Global Biosimilars Commercial Lead

Joe is focused on maximizing Organon’s current biosimilars portfolio working with teams around the world and leading efforts to expand the portfolio to enable sustained growth for the business.

Prior to joining Organon, Joe spent nearly two decades at Merck, known as MSD outside the U.S., where he held positions in corporate strategy, commercial new products, global marketing, and public affairs. He served as the global commercial lead for the biosimilars franchise overseeing a multi-market, cross-functional team for several major biosimilar product launches across the U.S. and Europe. Previously, he worked across women’s and general health products, and led the commercial assessment for the acquisition of Afferent Pharmaceuticals.

Joe has a B.A. from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
