1. Legal Basis for Data Processing: The legal basis to process personal data includes processing that is:
- Necessary for the performance of the contract between you and Organon.
- Necessary to comply with legal requirements.
- Necessary for our legitimate interests, for example, to manage our relationship with you; ensure security protection, to improve our web sites and our products and services.
- Based on your consent where relevant and as required by PDPL (for example, to communicate with you about our products and services and provide you with marketing information).
Where applicable, your consent can be subsequently withdrawn at any time by using the mechanism embedded in messages received or by using this webform[3]. Subsequent withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
2. Transfers of Personal Information:
We only share your personal data with other entities if there is a specific necessity and as permitted by the PDPL. Data recipients include service providers who support us as instruction-bound processors, third-party vendors as well as affiliated companies that belong to Organon. This may also require data transfers to countries outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For transfers to countries that are not deemed adequate by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), we may rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as provided by the PDPL.
4. Your Rights:
As per the PDPL, you have the right to access, correct, complete and update your personal data, as well as request its destruction when its no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You also have the right to be informed about the legal basis and the purpose of the collection of your personal data.
