Catherine Brown

In her role as Director, Business Practices and Privacy Officer, Catherine helps the organization understand inherent risks and bring solutions to help grow the business. She applies local nuances to corporate policies and is responsible for implementing the organization’s privacy program as well as collaborating across functions to improve our processes.

Prior to this role, Catherine spent 16 years with Merck Canada in different positions touching Operational Excellence, Learning & Development, Demand Planning, Strategy Realization, and Chief of Staff. Over her last 4 years, she oversaw the organization’s Patient Support Programs department, leading a team of 12.

Catherine spent a decade working in Aerospace, working in Pricing, Procurement and then in Project Management where she became a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Catherine has a Bachelor of Commerce in Administrative Management from Concordia University. Catherine and her husband Justin, have two daughters (Jenna & Lily). The family enjoys travelling and taking care of Kali, their pet Bichon Frisé.
