James Siano
Country Medical Lead (Interim), Medical Affairs
James Siano, PhD, MBA has recently been appointed interim Country Medical Director for Organon Canada. In this role, James will lead Medical Affairs’ patient value delivery activities aligned with Organon’s vision of making a world of difference in women’s health every day while providing more options for patients through the company’s biosimilars’ portfolio.
Prior to joining Organon, James served as the US Regional Director, Medical Affairs for Biosimilars at Merck. In this capacity, he led a key biosimilar product Launch Readiness Team, orchestrating strategic alignment and cross-functional collaboration in preparation for US market entry. In addition, James was a key contributor to multiple projects at the country and global level.
Prior to joining Merck, James held various organizational leadership roles across the product development continuum at UCB Biosciences and Novartis Pharmaceuticals, including Field Medical Affairs, Global Clinical Development & Medical Affairs, Global Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial.
James began his professional career as a management consultant at Accenture, where he partnered with clients across diverse industries to realize value opportunities. James holds both a masters and doctorate in chemical and biomedical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an international MBA from Arizona State University.
