Lead, Quality Assurance

Layal Allam recently joined Organon Canada as Quality Assurance Lead, bringing more than 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance and compliance. She has extensive expertise in quality systems, regulatory requirements, auditing, and operational excellence within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) regulated environments.

Throughout her career, Layal has held progressive leadership roles in quality functions, where she led cross-functional initiatives, supported regulatory inspections, managed audit programs, and drove continuous improvement across quality and manufacturing operations. Her work has consistently focused on strengthening compliance and enhancing the performance of quality systems.

Layal holds master’s degrees in biomedical engineering and Biochemistry and is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor. She is recognized for her strong leadership, analytical thinking, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams in complex and highly regulated environments. As Quality Assurance Lead at Organon Canada, Layal plays a key leadership role in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and the effectiveness of quality systems. She provides strategic oversight of core quality processes, including batch release, deviations, investigations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), while supporting inspection readiness and audit activities.
