Tom Merriam

Head of Corporate Strategy & Chief of Staff

Tom Merriam is head of Corporate Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO of Organon, a global healthcare company with the vision of creating a better and healthier every day for every woman. Tom is responsible for the development and evolution of the company strategy in coordination with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and others. 

Tom joined Organon from Lupin where he most recently was Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Integrated Business Planning. In that role, he oversaw the development and implementation of the company’s strategic agenda across all areas of the business. Other responsibilities at Lupin included leading their U.S. Branded Business overseeing women’s health, respiratory and established brands, as well as their Integrated Business Planning process, and Global Strategic Business Initiatives. Prior to joining Lupin, Tom worked at McKinsey & Company where he led strategy, growth, acquisition, integration, and transformational engagements for leading global pharmaceutical companies.

Tom earned his bachelor’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and his Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
