Iris Melendez
Head of Talent and Diversity
Iris is focused on building a positive and unique culture at Organon with diversity at its core. She leads a global team across talent development, attraction, workforce analytics, and DEI&B. These teams work collaboratively to create a seamless and integrated employee experience, built upon a common set of guiding philosophies and principles.
Prior to joining Organon, Iris led talent, diversity and inclusion at Solenis, and has held a variety of positions in companies ranging from a disruptive healthcare startup to a large multinational biopharmaceutical, and a Fortune 50 domestic telecommunications giant. She began her career as a consultant at Hay Group, now part of Korn Ferry, where she advised clients on alignment of competency-based human resources processes with business strategy.
Iris has a B.S. in economics with a concentration in management & organizational behavior from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is an ICF-certified executive coach and completed a certificate program in Fostering Diversity & Inclusion from Yale University.
