Mike Casia

Mike Casia serves as our Interim Head of U.S. Commercial & Government Affairs of Organon and President of Organon Canada Inc. He is responsible for ensuring Organon achieves its strategic and commercial objectives in those geographies. Mike has led Organon Canada since spin in 2021. Under his leadership, the Canadian team achieved double-digit revenue growth each year since spin, became the country’s leading distributor of biosimilar medicines, and partnered with medical organizations and advocacy groups to deliver advances in women’s health.  

Mike has twenty-five years of industry experience rooted in marketing, sales, and strategy. Prior to Organon, he was Managing Director for Merck, known as MSD outside the U.S., in Finland and the Baltics, and has contributed to the successful launches and expansion of multiple franchises for Merck, Schering-Plough, and Novartis. His career also includes global, regional, and general management roles that provided diverse geographic experience across 9 countries.

Mike holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, NY, and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from McGill University, Montreal. He chairs the Board of the Biosimilars Canada Industry Association and is also a member of the Board of Catalyst Canada.
