Growing our impact, one tree at a time
August 27, 2025

We believe the health of women is inseparable from the health of the planet. Our commitment to environmental sustainability is not limited to our operations; it’s reflected in how we engage and inspire our people across the globe.
Every April, we celebrate Earth Day as a moment to reflect, unite, and take action for the environment. What began as a single day has evolved into Earth Month at Organon: a time when employees across the company come together to spark awareness and drive real change.
In 2024, we introduced a new dimension to our tradition: for every activity employees engaged in during April, Organon committed to planting one tree.
This initiative is carried out in partnership with Natuurpunt, a leading Belgian nature conservation organization focused on protecting biodiversity, managing nature reserves, and restoring native ecosystems.
Natuurpunt is grateful for our partnership with Organon. They support a healthy environment not just with words, but also through concrete action, including various initiatives that contribute to nature conservation. Organon’s Earth Day initiative encourages employees to adopt a sustainable lifestyle and rewards their efforts with trees planted in our forest expansion projects across Flanders. Forests are essential for purifying our air, retaining water in the soil, and stabilizing the climate. They also provide a vital habitat for many animal and plant species. The forests we plant are accessible to all and available for everyone to enjoy. Nature is essential for our health. Understanding this, Organon delivers on their promise: a better life in a healthy environment for everyone.
Sander Verbeke, Account Manager at Natuurpunt
Thanks to employee engagement in 2024, 1,142 trees were planted in the Bruggeneindse Gooren, a rewilding project located near our Heist-op-den-Berg production site in Belgium. The area is part of a larger ecological restoration effort to create a thriving nature reserve that enhances biodiversity, supports native species, and increases climate resilience.
Each tree symbolizes a purposeful step taken by an Organon employee toward a healthier, more sustainable world. The forests we’re helping to grow will benefit generations to come—providing cleaner air, healthier ecosystems, and new habitats for wildlife.
